Thank you all for your patience.
My name is Nakamura, and I am the lucky man for 2024!
How did you all spend the New Year holidays?
I grabbed a hamburger and a coke, watched a movie, and gained weight over the New Year🎬
That was a close call. Just when my inner Taka and Toshi were about to complain, it was time to move on to the next topic! (On to the next topic!)
Europe and America! ! 🇺🇸
Now that you're feeling refreshed, I'd like to give you a brief introduction to the Sendagaya store.
At the Sendagaya store, we replace products and receive furniture from the Yamato store once every 1-2 weeks so that our customers can enjoy themselves no matter how many times they visit.
We also change the store layout from time to time, and each floor has a different style of furniture, so it is easy to see how the furniture looks when you enter your home or store. This is one of its charms!
Let's take a look at the newest floor, the 2nd floor, which was newly built last year.
This floor is a space with the best selection of items and high-quality Scandinavian furniture in the Sendagaya store.
We have designer items that you don't often see, such as the Danish-made Magnus Olesen dining table that arrived the other day, and a floor lamp designed by Jørgen Buchwald.
This floor is lined with special items.
We also carry carefully selected items from Japanese artists such as tableware, wooden furniture, and leather goods that are perfect as gifts.
This is the floor where many of the Sendagaya staff actually purchase incense and use it at home.
Next we will introduce you to the 1st floor.
This floor is lined with a wide variety of items, from Moroccan rugs that we started selling last year to European vintage Afghan rugs.
We also have stylish furniture selected from the Dutch brand VERSMISSEN.
The Congo Dining Table round table placed in the center is the main feature of this floor, but the sides are carved smoothly and seamlessly across the top, with a conical leg silhouette on the disk top. This piece is like an art piece.
As you go further in, there are stairs leading down.
The B1 floor is called the mezzanine by the staff, because there is a space like a hidden room between it and the B2 floor.
This is the only floor in the Sendagaya store with a low ceiling, and it is lined with vintage European tableware.
While choosing tableware, don't miss out on the table lights and small lights that illuminate the tableware as there is a high probability that you will find hidden gems on this floor.
Furthermore, as you move towards the back of the vertically long floor, you will find Moroccan furniture and lighting lined up, creating a space that has a Moroccan interior.
Then, as you go further down, you will suddenly see a wide open space.
The walls are covered with colorful French vintage posters and art, and casual furniture such as HOOK's ottoman and chair series, which we started selling last year, are lined up.
This floor has a lot of furniture that can be easily incorporated into your home, so be sure to check it out.
There are also dozens of very popular West German-made vases, etc., which are also arriving all the time, so don't miss them.
And while you might think this is the lowest floor, there is still a lower floor, so don't forget.
The B3 floor has a completely different atmosphere from the previous floors, and is packed with industrial-style lights and enthusiast items that are recommended for store displays.
Inside are vintage spools of thread, beakers for experiments, posters used as teaching materials, and even a typewriter.
There may be hidden items that are irresistible to vintage lovers.
This is an introduction to the latest Sendagaya store floor.
