【新入荷】渡辺パイル - SHARK ATTACK ONLINE SHOP

Hello everyone.

This is Ito from the Sendagaya store.

As autumn deepens, what are you all doing these days?
I hate the cold so much that I'm preparing for hibernation!

I'm the one who secretly turns up the temperature in the air conditioner remote control war at the Sendagaya store (whisper)

We have received a product from Watanabe Pile that is perfect for the deepening autumn, so today we would like to introduce you to its charms in detail!

Watanabe Pile is a long-established textile company that manufactures towels, having been founded in 1963 for nearly 50 years.

The high-quality water, a specialty of Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, where it is produced, has low hardness,
It gives the yarn softness and also has a positive effect on the whiteness and color development when dyed.

The things we use every day have the power to make our daily lives just a little better.
Watanabe Pyle's words show his sincere attitude towards manufacturing.

The Sendagaya store has now started selling two series that Watanabe Pile created in collaboration with artist norahi and textile designer YU MEI FUANG.

norahi×WATANABE PILE

A collaboration series with illustrator/artist norahi.

Norahi creates illustrations without drawing any boundaries between different methods of expression, such as line drawing and painting, and her designs are characterized by bold, clear lines and vivid colors.

As their names suggest, GOOD DAY and BUNCH OF FLOWERS are uplifting designs that represent the joys of everyday life.

YU MEI HUANG×WTANABE PILE

A collaboration series with textile artist YU MEI HUANG.

Taiwan-born, London-based textile artist YU MEI HUANG is known for her playful designs based on traditional culture and techniques.

Both TO DOTS and ON THE ROOM series feature floating spheres and soft, extending lines along with pale colors, giving the pieces a mysterious lightness and three-dimensionality that seems to go beyond the materials used.

The material used in this collaborative series is made from fully ripe cotton with long, thick fibers, and only the best parts are harvested and twisted into yarn, resulting in a soft yet firm feel against the skin.

It's also great that the towels retain their fluffiness no matter how many times they are washed, meaning you can care for them every day with peace of mind.
