Hello!
I'm Yabiku, a staff member from Sendagaya!
How have you all been lately?
The weather in Tokyo has finally stabilized, and we've been enjoying some comfortable days☀️
The sunlight is warm enough to make you feel refreshed in the morning, and cool at night for a comfortable sleep - it's truly an ideal environment 😊
However, I'm sure it will get hot again in a few months...
I always think it's going to get hotter from now on, and it looks like it's going to get hotter!!
Wow, it looks like it's going to be very hot!!
Oh! Speaking of hot!!
That's right!!
The "Nutcracker" we are selling at SHARKATTACK right now is also hot 🔥 (※This is not the temperature)
So this time, I would like to introduce "The Nutcracker" 🙆♂️
Nutcrackers are a traditional German craft made in the Erzgebjerge region, located on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic, a region world-famous for making traditional wooden toys and ornaments.
As you all know, walnuts were cracked by hitting them with a large stone, but as civilization evolved, a bronze doll-shaped tool was made in Italy in 200 BC to crack walnuts, and this is how the "nutcracker" was born. Metal nutcrackers were then created, and the wooden nutcrackers that are now popular were first made in England and France in the 16th century.
Walnuts have been valued as a valuable source of protein since ancient times because of their high nutritional value and long shelf life. For this reason, many efforts have been made to crack the hard shells of walnuts👍

Early designs were in the form of birds, animals and humans 🐎🐤
Later, in the 17th century, dolls were made to depict powerful people such as kings, lords, and police officers!
The design was created as a satire and criticism of those who have been tormented by those in power, by putting hard walnuts in the mouths of dolls that represent those people to silence them.
The fun thing about vintage items is that just knowing the history of the item can make you see it in a different light!! Ahhhhh, so exciting.
What did you think?
I, Yabiku, would be very happy if you have become even a little interested in the Nutcracker 😁💯
SHARKATTACK is scheduled to arrive in Europe in mid-May! I think there might be a new Nutcracker in there...
Please come and find your destined encounter♡
Until next time, njabira🌺🌴👋(goodbye)
