Hello!
This is Osaka staff Yamada ^_^
It's been getting warmer lately.
The pollen is so bad that I have to wear a mask₍ ᐢ- ̫-ᐢ₎
I have acquired hay fever.
Even though I felt sorry for him when he was a child.
Hay fever used to be someone else's problem, but now I seriously hate cedar trees!
Today in Kasugawara,
We would like to introduce you to the vintage French posters that arrived in the thousands the other day!
An accident prevention awareness poster by a French association called AINF.
This is an original poster from 1951, when posters were used to prevent accidents and fires and were distributed to labor stations.
Best of all, the pop of color is really cute.
All types (more than 200 types ) are currently available at the Osaka store.
It's really spectacular when you put them side by side.
Today, we will introduce 7 recommended items from Yamada Select.
Let me introduce you!
1. "Clean the floor"
First up is this poster.
“gardez les sols propres” (clean the floor!)
is what it reads.
Put it in me, not on the floor! ! pointing to himself
The dignified expression of this trash can is irresistible.
It's for people who tend to make a mess ₍ ᐢ. ̫ .ᐢ ₎

2. "Desperate situation"
Here's what I'd like to introduce next.
When I found it, I laughed even though it wasn't a funny thing.
Eh, isn't it too desperate?
If you reach a dead end even once, you're out immediately, it's too much of a death game.
Does that carefree expression really suit you? ? ?
Also, there's no way a single fire extinguisher can put out enough fire.
This is Yamada's recommended poster, where the man in the center is put through a very severe ordeal.

3. “Acrobat”
The third!
This poster shows a cute Mademoiselle carrying documents.
The rhythmic font and cute colors won Yamada's heart and made it into the ranking.
The contents are as follows:
“portez des chaussures plates.” (Wear flat shoes)
I guess this is a warning that stiletto heels are not suitable for work.
This girl seems to be wearing stiletto heels with a strong will, ignoring such attention lol

4. “History of Prevention”
Next, the contrast of Viridian on the orange background is tasteful.
This poster.
The title of the book is
“la merveilleuse histoire de la prevention” (conveying the wonders of prevention )
“ajoutez y un chapitre” ( add chapter ) at the bottom
So let's continue this historically wonderful prevention! This is a nuanced poster.
Bi-color with complementary colors of orange and green.
Although it has a strong and eye-catching color scheme,
However, it is not too pop-like,
It's simple and stylishly put together.
My favorite color scheme is the poster ^^

5. "Goat"
Next, we will introduce one of the best songwriter posters in stock this time.
The two goats, the freehand speech bubbles,
The mysterious object in the lower left also doesn't make much sense.
“Premier employee attention!” literally translates to “premier employee attention!” It seems like something like that, but I don't really understand ...
It's dangerous when working with goats, so be careful ... ?
The mystery only deepens.
So, I asked my French friend to translate it for me.
After all, in terms of context
Be careful when working for the first time! It seems like something like that
Unless the mystery of the bird-like object in the lower left is solved.
I couldn't see the whole picture.
If anyone knows more, please let Yamada know.
However, this surreal motif is so unique! !

6. “Wear work gloves.”
“ceci evite cela” means “to prevent work gloves from becoming like a right hand”,
Something like that.
The reason why we recommend this is
Because I really like this person's expression.
There's quite a bit of blood though
Is that expression appropriate? I also want to ask this question.
This is not the face that looks at my own bleeding hands! ! ! ! ! ! ! ✋( `・н・´ )✋
Don't forget to wear work gloves when doing any work₍ ᐢ. ̫ .ᐢ ₎

7. “Keep your hands clean”
Lastly, this poster reminds people to disinfect their hands.
Since these are cautionary posters, most of them have cautionary notes in French.
This is a poster with only a few pictures.
I don't know if it was intentional or due to a misunderstanding.
There are color bleeds in the line drawings, giving it a very retro look.
It has a different look from the pop art style of other posters.
Finished as art with a delicate touch
This is the poster that Yamada personally recommends the most!

Now!
Now that I have introduced seven items, I will stop here for now.
After all, there are about 200 types, so
Please try to find your favorite one (´ᴗ ·̫ ᴗ`)
By the way, is there a concept of hay fever in France?
If not, I would like to move ₍ᐢ ̫ ʚ̴̶̷̥̀ ᐢ₎
that's all! Yamada was suffering from hay fever.
