Hello everyone.

Today we will be introducing you to the POPUP currently being held at WITH KAMAKURA, located in Hase, Kamakura, close to the sea, and all its highlights!

WITH KAMAKURA is a complex that was renovated from a 220-year-old gassho-style traditional Japanese house that was relocated from Shirakawa-go, Gifu, and is located about a 6-minute walk from Hase Station on the Enoshima Electric Railway.

As you walk along the quaint narrow streets typical of Kamakura, a Gassho-style building suddenly appears.
Pure white noren curtains sway coolly in the early summer of Kamakura.

The SHARK ATTACK POPUP will be located in the space to the right as soon as you enter and in the space to the left by the fireplace.

Passing through the entrance and to the right is a space lined with vintage tableware, vases, posters, and more from Europe.
You can also see Moroccan cushions and tribal rugs here.

Vintage French Posters

Accident prevention awareness poster by 50s-60sAINF (French Association)
This is the original poster that was distributed to each workplace in 1951 when the company began using it to prevent accidents and fires.

The iconic French colour scheme and pop design make for a great display.

Moroccan cushion

This is a handmade cushion with a gentle design, hand-embroidered by Berber women in Morocco.

Because it is woven with wool, it is slightly stiff and has a subdued shine, giving it a sophisticated look.

VINTAGE TABLEWARE
Vintage ceramic tableware, mainly from Western European countries.
There is a wide range of products on offer, from simple and easy-to-use ones to ones with cute designs.

West German Ceramics
A vintage West German flower vase commonly known as "fat lava".

Literally meaning "fertile lava," the name suggests that the ceramics are characterized by a lava-like flowing glaze texture and vivid colors, and their unique style is considered to be representative of mid-century pottery.

Vintage rug

Vintage tribal rug.

"Tribal" means "tribal" in English, and refers to textiles that were used as rugs, wall hangings, and other everyday items by nomadic tribes living mainly in Western Asia.

They come in a range of easy-to-use mini rug sizes.

Go through the entrance and turn left
We displayed Robyn.A Frank blankets and furniture that can be easily matched with a Japanese style space.

Robyn A Frank

This blanket was designed by Robyn A. Frank, a female artist who lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
The collection features vibrant colors and bold abstract patterns inspired by the beautiful nature of New Mexico.

TOMY MADE
A brand that offers a wide range of products, from original products such as wallets and bags created by leather artist TOMY to artwork for interior design, etc.

Tomy has focused on scent, an essential element in his daily work as an artist, and has now commercialized incense and a leather incense holder.

We offer four scents that are for inward use rather than outward use.

Vintage floor lamp
Vintage rattan floor lamp.
Although it is a European product, it fits in well with the Japanese atmosphere and looks great.

Pinewood armchair
This chair is attractive for its soft pinewood texture and impressive appearance with arms.
This also blends into the WITH KAMAKURA space and has a different atmosphere than when it was in the store.

Next to the POPUP space is a cafe space facing the veranda.
Every Monday and from Thursday to Sunday, they serve lunch, where you can enjoy seasonal dishes made with plenty of local ingredients.

Why not relax your body and mind in a sophisticated space in the ancient city of Kamakura?

We look forward to your visit.
