Sota Azuchi
Born in 1979 in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture.
Learned glass blowing under his father, Tadahisa Azuchi, a glass artist.
In 2002, he built a kiln in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture and began working as a glass artist.
Every step of the process is made by hand.
The glass is made by adjusting the temperature and working speed of the kiln.
Although it has a sophisticated shape, it is expressive and soft.
Because raw materials with low purity are melted at a low temperature,
It has a slightly yellowish color similar to antique glass.
