He is highly revered in France as a national hero and is considered one of France's greatest politicians of the 20th century.
This item is made by SOHOLM , a famous pottery manufacturer that existed on the island of Boholm in Denmark from 1835 to 1996 , and is part of a series called "Savings Man of the Year" and "Great Statesmen."
It appears to have been manufactured in the 1970s, and has a serial number on the bottom.
Not only can it be used as a piggy bank, but it can also be used as a display piece in a corner of your room.
