Leif Sylvester Petersen is a Danish painter, graphic artist, musician and actor born in Copenhagen on 18 April 1940. He originally trained as a carpenter but also worked simultaneously as a musician and artist.
He made his debut as an artist in the late 1960s, performing street shows and social satire entertainment with Eric Claussen, and formed a band called "Sylvester and the Swallows" and released several albums.
His work is characterised by an abstract and naive style, and he has also decorated many public spaces, such as the Assistance Cemetery in Copenhagen with his bronze sculpture "That's it".
The bottom says Galerie Moderne - Silkeborg. Galerie Moderne - Silkeborg is a contemporary art gallery located in Silkeborg, Denmark. Founded in 1962, with over 60 years of history, the gallery is one of the largest contemporary art galleries in Scandinavia.
This product can be used as a focal point on the wall in a variety of situations.
It is highly recommended for home use as well as for commercial use.
