"CH29" Dining Chair
for Carl Hansen & Son, 1952s
The CH29, also known as the "Sawbuck" chair, is based on a sawhorse and features a truss structure with crossed legs, making it both lightweight and sturdy.
The backrest fits the curved contours of the human back, allowing you to fully experience a sense of unity with the furniture and a comfortable feeling.
This dining chair has a design that is typical of Wegner, and is both visually pleasing and comfortable to use.
Production of the CH29 was temporarily suspended in the mid-1970s, but 20 years later it was revived at the suggestion of Hans J. Wegner's daughter, Marianne. This product is believed to be the original from before the revival.
