Description
A pendant lamp designed by Danish lighting designer Bent Karlby for the long-established lighting manufacturer Lyfa .
This lamp features a combination of red glass placed in the center of the shade and a large horizontally extending metal shade. When lit, the glass parts that encase the light source emit a deep red light, creating soft shadows around it. The slit structure at the top allows light to escape just enough, exuding the functional beauty that is characteristic of Bent Karlby.
Although the design is minimalist, the contrast of color and form gives it a strong personality, making it a striking accent in any space.It is also recommended for use as point lighting above dining tables, counters, shop fixtures, etc.
The design symbolizes the collaboration between Bent Karlby and Lyfa, who produced many masterpieces from the 1950s to 1970s, and is a product that allows you to fully experience the charm and contemporary feel of Nordic vintage lighting.
・The power supply is a wall outlet type, but it can be replaced with a separately sold ceiling hook (¥880).
- Both power supplies and light bulbs that meet domestic standards are available.
・Maximum wattage = 40W equivalent (fluorescent lamps and LED bulbs can be used)
*When using LED bulbs, it can handle up to 100W equivalent.
- Bulbs are not included, so please purchase them at your local electronics store.
- The socket and cord have been replaced with new ones.
