David Schmidt, also known as Tuyo, is a self-taught artist and printmaker based in Southern Germany. His work seeks to capture the timeless aspects of art through organic forms, archaic symbols and an intuitive approach. Always fascinated by different cultures around the world, he seeks to point out the importance of community, compassion and the reflection of contemporary values through the commonalities in their expression and art.
