This is a bimetallic thermometer made in the Netherlands.
A bimetal thermometer is a sensor that is often used in analog thermometers.
It is made by pasting together metals that have different degrees of elasticity depending on the temperature, and is wound around a mainspring so that it bends as the temperature changes.
The hands move as the mainspring winds and unwinds depending on the temperature changes at that time.
We are not sure if it is functioning properly, so please use it as an interior object.
