A pendant lamp produced in the 1960s and 1970s by VEB Metalldrücker Halle, a state-owned company in the former East Germany.
This item is reminiscent of Danish or Swedish design, and soft light leaks from the top and bottom, creating a comfortable and warm space.
I think the copper and black coloring would be good as an accent in a modern space.
