This is a print by Queen Margrethe of Denmark, who ascended to the throne in 1972.
It appears to have been created in 1997 as part of a campaign calling for support and aid in connection with the conflict in the Balkans.
Her diverse talents include translation, illustration and ballet costume design, and her work is extremely popular both in Denmark and abroad.
At the bottom of the poster is written "HJÆLP BALKAN" in Danish.
The black, grey and red colours create a dark and dramatic atmosphere.
