Norwegian-made KENGU LOUNGE lounge chair

This lounge chair is from the KENGU LOUNGE series, manufactured by RYBO RIKKEN & Co. in the 1960s and 1970s.

This is a sophisticated design by two of Norway's leading designers, Elsa and Nordahl Solheim.

The lustrous genuine leather cushions are resilient and provide a gentle, enveloping seating experience.
The backrest is designed to support your neck, allowing you to relax for long periods of time.

The plywood structure gives a light impression while also being strong and flexible.
The leg design is also beautiful, giving it a modern and sophisticated look that is typical of Scandinavia.
