This is a masterpiece created by Danish designer Kai Kristiansen during the golden age of mid-century modern.

The Paper Knife Sofa's most distinctive feature is its beautiful, sculptural arm design.

Its slim and light form is said to be easy to match with Japanese living spaces.

The frame is made of Brazilian rosewood, commonly known as Jacaranda, which is extremely rare today.

It has a highly decorative and artistic grain pattern, ranging from reddish brown to purplish brown with intricate black stripes.

Brazilian rosewood is often used in Scandinavian furniture made during the mid-century period and in famous vintage guitars from before the 1960s, which is why it is highly valued and rare today.

The deep, beautiful grain and the luster and color that increase with time give it a special presence that cannot be found with any other wood.

The cushion fabric has been carefully reupholstered by the Danish fabric manufacturer KVADRAT with Danish fabric selected with great aesthetic sense, paying homage to the original.

The warm beige mixed fabrics complement the rich rosewood tones beautifully.
