80s Danish Holmegaard Mytos series pendant lamp
This pendant lamp is from Holmegaard, a glass brand founded in Denmark in 1825 and a long-standing and traditional supplier to the Danish royal family.
This is a series named Mythos, which means temple or myth in Greek.
It was designed in 1989 by Danish designer Sidse Werner.
Since this product was made after Holmegaard became a subsidiary of Royal Copenhagen, there is still a tag on the top of the socket with Royal Copenhagen and the model number written on it.
As its name suggests, the Mytos series is an item that becomes the core of a space, with its sculptural silhouette reminiscent of a temple column and its symbolic size of 47cm in diameter.
Even when turned off, it has a presence like an object, making it a highly recommended item not only for use in the home but also as store fixtures, as an accent for the space.

-Once you attach the ceiling parts, you can hang it from the ceiling and use it immediately.
・The power supply is a wall outlet type, but it can be replaced with a ceiling hook (sold separately) (¥880).
・Both power supplies and light bulbs comply with domestic standards.
・Maximum wattage = 40W equivalent (fluorescent lamps and LED bulbs can be used)
*When using LED bulbs, it can handle up to 100W equivalent.
- Bulbs are not included, so please purchase them at your local electronics store.
- The socket and cord have been replaced with new ones.
