Danish Mid-Century Leather Armchair

This vintage leather armchair is believed to have been manufactured in Denmark between the 1950s and 1960s. Its flowing, organic form and high-quality materials are characteristic of Danish mid-century design. While the manufacturer and designer are unknown, its exceptional beauty and solid construction speak to the high quality of Scandinavian furniture from that time.

The greatest appeal of this armchair is its sculptural wooden frame and its design that gently embraces the body. The frame has beautiful wood grain, and its flowing design that seems to be one with the armrests and rear legs.
The armrests in particular have a very smooth curve that has been carefully carved to fit the fingers.
