Founded in 1835 on the Danish island of Bornholm, it is the island's oldest ceramics manufacturer. From the 1950s to the 1960s, the company employed outstanding designers such as Einar Johansen to produce numerous masterpieces that combined original glazes with sculptural forms. Their style combines a rustic texture evocative of Nordic nature with modern aesthetics, and even after closing its doors in 1996, they remain highly regarded by collectors around the world.
