MYYS candles gently envelop you in an elegant fragrance
"PUNAINEN" means "red" in Finnish.
The scent conveys memories of the 200-year-old red log house that served as MYYS' studio for the next two years from 2021.
This fragrance captures the energy and coziness that has inspired us this season, capturing the beauty and harmony of life in a classic red Scandinavian home.
MYYS is a candle studio based in Inkoo, a suburb of Helsinki, Finland, that started in 2020. In Finland, winters are long and people spend a lot of time indoors, so we started making things that people would want to use on a daily basis, aiming to turn their homes into shelters for a wonderful, peaceful and secure life. From developing the scents to creating the packaging, everything is done in the studio in small batches.
In order to be environmentally conscious and to eliminate waste, we assemble only the amount of packaging we need by hand in our studio, pour the wax into recyclable glass containers one by one, and finish by hand-sticking the labels. The labels and packages with their distinctive graphics are objects that decorate your life, making everyday moments a little more special.
