【千駄ヶ谷スタッフ】シャンデリアのすゝめ

Hello everyone!

This is my first blog post. I'm Honka from Cerote Antiques .

The rainy season has arrived, bringing with it the unbearable heat and humidity.

I am writing this blog with the sincere hope that the rainy season will end as soon as possible.

Well, there may be times when you can't go out because of the rain, so I would like to talk about "lighting" that will brighten up your room at those times!

Nowadays, there are various types of lighting for interior design, such as pendant lights, ceiling lights, floor lights, etc. Light that brightens up a room is an essential part of our lives.

Such lighting can completely change the impression of a room depending on the brightness, color of the light, and the way the light spreads.

Today, I will be writing a blog focusing on chandeliers, out of the many types of lighting available!

When you hear the word chandelier, you may conjure up images of gorgeous, dazzling objects like those seen in old Western movies, but there are also many that are easy to incorporate into modern rooms.

The origin of the chandelier dates back to the Greek and Roman era before Christ, when they were used to efficiently illuminate large churches and monasteries using candles, which were a precious commodity at the time.

Chandeliers evolved mainly in Europe, but when you look into it, you'll find that they were influenced by the history of royalty, the historical background of the time, and advances in manufacturing technology, and there's a lot to learn about them. It's very deep, so I'll talk about that later...

So, we would like to introduce the best chandeliers that are on display and for sale at our Sendagaya store! Please stay with us until the end!

6 light vintage iron chandelier

Let's start with this chandelier!

The frame's supple curves make this piece stand out. It looks like something you'd find in a Western-style house, and it's sure to completely change the impression of your room.

The six glass shades face upwards, so you can enjoy the gentle light shining through the cut glass without looking directly at the dazzling light.

Next up is this one with an impressive square glass shade.

The gold-colored frame gives it a luxurious look.

If you look closely at the glass shade, you can see that it has many different bumps and grooves of different sizes, making this a chandelier that shows attention to detail.

Next up is this piece, which features cut glass with a round design.

The contrast between the straight and stylish chrome frame and the round shade is great!

The wood on the top of each shade is a nice touch.
