The Norwegian furniture brand Vatne Mobler is proud to present the Falcon Chair, designed by Sigurd Ressel.

"An exquisite balance between the four plywood frames and the canvas."
A canvas is hung between four connected plywood frames, and a leather cushion with a one-piece back and seat is placed on top. This structure creates a floating sensation as if you are floating in the air, and a comfortable seating experience that gently envelops the body.

The Falcon Chair is not only beautiful in appearance, but also highly functional. It weighs only about 8kg, making it easy to move around.

Sigurd Ressel
Born in Norway in 1920, he established his office in Oslo. The design he drew for the competition caught the eye of Niels Botter, a master craftsman who created many masterpieces with Finn Juhl. His signature work, the Falcon Chair, is a product of the Norwegian furniture manufacturer VATNE and remains a best-seller in Europe even 30 years after its release.

Vatne Mobler
Founded in 1946, shortly after the war when supplies were scarce, the company initially made furniture by hand in the basements of village youth centers and chapels, but after an international trade fair in 1958, it achieved great success in the 1960s, collaborating with numerous designers to produce many masterpieces representative of the mid-century. Even today, having established itself as one of Norway's top brands, the company continues to enthusiastically produce new, high-quality designer furniture.
