Johannes Andersen is one of Denmark's leading furniture designers.
He trained with various cabinet makers before becoming a certified joiner in 1922 and opening his own furniture workshop in the 1930s.
Johannes Andersen's works often use woods such as rosewood and teak, which develop a unique character the more they are used, and his designs are carefully crafted to highlight the unique shapes and beautiful lines of these woods, making them highly popular in the vintage market today.
Urdum Mobelfabrik is This Danish furniture manufacturer, based in Uldum, Jutland in the 1960s, is famous for its mid-century modern furniture .
The company is also known for producing many pieces of furniture designed by Johannes Andersen.
My personal favorite is the approach from the handles on the bottom left and right to the legs. The balance between the horizontal handles and the vertical legs is just right.
It has excellent storage capacity and is very easy to use.
