"Magnus Olesen" 8000 Series Dining Table

We have received a work table from Magnus Olesen's "8000 Series" which features an impressive matte black linoleum top.

The linoleum material of the tabletop is highly durable and resistant to scratches and dents. However, it is prone to ring marks, so we recommend wiping it frequently with love.

The contrast with the light grain of the beech is beautiful, making this a practical and well-designed masterpiece that feels designed with ease of use in mind .

The design was created by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen.

This product is highly recommended not only for home use, but also as store fixtures.

Magnus Olesen ( Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen)

A long-established Danish furniture manufacturer founded in 1937.
Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen are renowned Danish designers, particularly recognised for their work in furniture design.
They graduated from the Danish School of Arts, Crafts and Design in 1966 and worked with Magnus Olesen from the 1970s onwards, producing a number of designs using bentwood techniques.

Their representative works include the 8000 series, Stack Chair, and Doughnut Stool, which reflect their pursuit of new designs while still respecting tradition. Their designs combine functionality and beauty, and are widely used in public spaces and office furniture.

In particular, their collaboration with Magnus Olesen has produced a number of soft-formed furniture pieces using beech wood and linoleum, making them iconic pieces of Danish design.
