A vintage pendant lamp from the 1960s by the famous Danish designer Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen.

The light that shines through the randomly placed small perforations is as fantastical as stars.
The organic silhouette and swaying cut lines characteristic of Holm Sørensen give the piece a quiet presence in any space.

Taking advantage of the softness that is characteristic of brass, the pieces are boldly yet delicately crafted, giving them a very aura and a strong presence that suits both modern and warm Nordic spaces.

Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) was a lighting designer active in the 1950s to 1970s.

Since the 1960s, Holm Sørensen's style has changed significantly. Popular Brutalism (exposing materials and structures rather than decorative designs to emphasize texture) ) are designed from his own unique perspective.

Holm-Sørensen & Co. is a lighting manufacturer founded by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen, who produced a large number of original lighting fixtures from the 1950s to the 1970s. Holm-Sørensen's products, characterized by punching and sculptural forms, are still highly regarded today as Nordic vintage items.
