This piece has an iron-like texture and is made by firing it with a glaze made from ashes from Sakurajima, Kagoshima Prefecture, where the ONE KILN CERAMICS workshop is located.
This large oval plate is just right for a large group of people, while the small size is just right as a dessert plate or side dish. Using different sizes and colors can make for a fun dining table.
