A beautiful desk lamp with a round shape and arched support
It is probably a desk lamp made by Christian Dell for Kaiser Idell in the 1950s.
Kaiser Idell is one of the classic Bauhaus lamps. It was designed by Christian Dell. Kaiser Idell is characterized by its charming round shape and arched pillar. This lamp is available in a variety of versions, including desk lamps, floor lamps, and pendant lamps.
Christian Dell was a silversmith and designer born in 1893 in Offenbach am Main, Hesse, Germany.
Dell began designing lighting for the lamp factory Gebr. Kaiser & Co. in Neheim-Hüsten in early 1926. His signature work, the Kaiser-Idel series, was featured in the Kaiser catalogue published in 1936 and quickly became a popular item.
The name Kaiser Idel comes from the name of the original lamp manufacturer (KAISER), and Idel (idell) comes from Dell's own name and idea.
It is highly recommended for home use as well as for commercial use.
