LAFABLIGHT: French craft lighting

LAFABLIGHT is a lighting brand founded in Chartres, France in 2021.
Designer Cyril Maillet was inspired by Nordic string art from the 1950s and 1960s and began creating these pieces.

French tradition and craftsmanship

This lighting is made in France and primarily uses natural woods such as oak and beech, as well as cotton rope .
The shades are assembled and the ropes are braided, each one carefully handcrafted in a workshop in France.

Art of Light and Shadow

Its greatest feature is the beautiful gradation of light created by its intricate geometric design.

By delicately stretching rope through slits in the thin plate, it creates soft shades of light, changing its appearance depending on the angle from which it is viewed, and when turned off it has a presence like an objet d'art.

The shade design, consisting of five basic shapes, and the arrangement of the threads create 60 different complex geometric patterns, casting warm and beautiful shadows in the space.

This lighting has been certified with PSE certification (PSE mark) in accordance with Japan's Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act, and is safe to use.

Pattern Describe

	"QADRO" "QADRO" with beautiful geometric lines The regular arrangement of the ropes creates a sharp, modern impression. When lit, the grid-like shadows are cast on the walls and ceiling, adding rhythm and definition to the space.
	"ALCERIA" "ALCERIA" features flowing curves The soft, organic lines of the rope gently spread light. When lit, the shadows flicker softly, creating a warmth that envelops the entire space.
	"UFOLA" "UFOLA" radiates outward from the center It creates fantastical shadows that look like stars or blooming flowers. When turned on, the light spreads outwards, adding an impressive accent to the space.
