The company is committed to products made in Kagoshima, and one of the things it focused on was the volcanic ash provided by its symbol, Sakurajima.
This series was completed after many years of trial and error, including the amount of ash added and the firing temperature. The individual colors vary depending on the position in the kiln and the chemical reactions of the glaze.
