Founded in 1908 as Gato Woodworks in Yamanaka Onsen, a town famous for its pottery turning. Inheriting the will of woodworkers, the beautiful grain of natural materials and the perfection of the woodwork, which is carefully carved one by one by woodworkers, can be called a work of art.
We utilize the high level of traditional Yamanaka lacquerware techniques to create lacquerware that will be loved for a long time.
